Discipleship Explored is an 8-week journey through the book of Philippians that challenges a Christian to deepen his or her understanding or what it means to be a genuine disciple of Jesus Christ. Paul’s letter to the Philippians is a good introduction (or review) of what being a Christian really means to the believer and what that should look like.

Warehouse Christian Ministries is an excellent example of how God is working through this course. Warehouse is a church located in Sacramento, CA whose purpose is to share the love of Christ with everyone they interact with. Through using Discipleship Explored, they have seen people learn from God’s Word what it is like to be a true disciple of Jesus.

Warehouse Ministries has used Discipleship Explored in several ways, such as:

• Women’s study
• Men’s study
• Youth program
• Adult Sunday school class.

Wade Foster, the Congregational Care Pastor for Warehouse Ministries, who answered questions about what the church has seen in using the course, said that it has allowed them to become closer as a church family.

They have found the course to be very enjoyable because it is clear and straight to the point without lacking intellectual challenge.
