“What is Christianity?” A New Animation from Christianity Explored Ministries

We are thrilled to introduce a brand new resource for you to use in your evangelism: a two-minute animation telling the gospel story…

The animation provokes people, perhaps for the first time, to ask that crucial question about Jesus:

“Who do you say I am?”

Lots of people have a vague idea of who Jesus might be. But when we open up the pages of Scripture, we all must confront that question for ourselves: Who do we say that Jesus is? Does he show himself to be the Messiah, the Son of God?

This is our desire for this resource: to equip you and your churches to more easily help others ask this question for themselves. Through extraordinary visuals and a simple, yet powerful script, this animation presents the Gospel in a way that people may never have experienced it before. Here’s how you can use it in your personal and public evangelism!

Ways to use the animation:

Watch | It’s well worth your time to watch the animation a few times over! Thabiti Anyabwile’s voiceover seems to reveal something different each time you hear it. The visuals on screen are great talking points for conversations with your friends, so watch and get familiar with the video. You’ll notice something new with each view!

Share | Spread it far and wide! Drop a link in your group chats. Post it on your social profile or bio. Use it as a tool in your personal evangelism by sending it to a friend who’s been exploring faith with you.

Utilize | We want to make this animation available for churches as well. Play it as an opening video for your Sunday services. Embed it on your church website’s “What is the Gospel?”, “What we Believe” or “Statement of Faith” page. Or post it alongside the details of your next CE or LE course. Below, you’ll find a list of the different places you can find the animation and how to embed the video on your own sites.

Invite | Jesus’ question that bookends this video, “Who do you say I am?” is a one that each of us must face sooner or later. Our prayer is that, after watching this video, people will take an interest in the person of Jesus, making it easier for you to invite them to, “Come and explore the person of Jesus more fully with me.”
